The relation between B.H.M. & Paperhound Entertainment goes back decades. Tiksta was one of the first to offer his mentorship to a young entrepreneur who later grew up to become B.H.M's flagship artist, A-1 Thee Assas'n.

Tik began his career as "Lunatik". And as a local rapper he hustled, learning the business, gaining knowledge and respect along the way. His journey wasn't an easy one though. Street life in Oregon and California in the 80's and 90's were luring young men like himself to be doomed and forced into a life of dealing narcotics and landing in prison or laying inside a grave.

His early album release titled "THE BEGINNING" was a gritty underground joint full of clever punchlines and hardcore instrumentals that introduced him as a serious contender in the fight for control of the music scene in Portland, Oregon. And remember, this was in the 90's era in the heart of the west coast. That meant the environment was polluted with drugs, gang violence, Ronald Reagan, and police brutality. Not an ideal situation for anyone to prosper in. He watched many souls fall victim to the temptation of the streets and he was determined not to follow in those footsteps!!!

 Tiksta was too intelligent to waste his potential like he had witnessed so many others do. So he altered his stage name a bit, developed a plan and set forth to put it in motion. Now using the moniker "Tiksta" he re-branded himself and his mission and took the proper steps to learn how to legalize a business and get it off the ground. Enter the birth of Paperhound. Once just an idea inside the head of a young man with nothing but hopes and aspirations, now Tik was in the process of beginning to actually build the company he had been dreaming of. Several years passed in the midst of him struggling to bring his business to the brink of the success he wanted to achieve. In that time some friends became enemies, some passed away, and some just disappeared. Family too for that matter. But he didn't allow anything to discourage him. Instead, he upped the ante and expanded his company (which at the time was only achieving mediocre accolades) to include a clothing brand under the same name of the Paperhound brand. And he went to work promoting and blasting out the name and his designs of clothes wherever he could. Fast forward a few years and Tik had come to see that he had built an entertainment company with the Paperhound name that boast a record label with incredibly talented artist such as Chuck Meeze, A-1 Thee Assas'n, Wolf, and others. Plus a media department that produces video content and podcasting, AND a successful clothing brand that will soon be distributed internationally. 

Tiksta had dreams and goals he wanted to accomplish in life and that alone gave him his drive to continue through his struggles. And with the right amount of effort, dreams really can come true!!! Tik is living proof of that fact. His ambition is absolutely inspirational. He chased his dreams and manifested them into reality. That means you can too.
