“NEVER FORGOTTEN!!!”, a tribute compilation of not one but five BHM affiliated artist who unfortunately met death way before their time, the decision was made to do whatever we could to keep our friend's memory and music alive for all time. After some brainstorming and shuffling of ideas, Thee Assas'n had a plan.
What that plan was…… he wouldn't tell anybody for the longest time, until he had “all his ducks in a row”. It wasn't until months later that he presented the plan to proceed with a compilation series that would later become known as the LEGENDARY series.
So, when A-1 had that brilliant idea: to release a different type of tribute album, one that everybody who knew them would appreciate because instead of the friends or other artist singing about them in some sad “I Miss My Homies” type-song, the album would be starring The Fallen themself, in a “greatest hits” style compilation that will not only keep their name and music going, but also create new fans of their work and generate revenue to continue the mission to make their dreams a reality, even though they are no longer here!!
The first edition, LEGENDARY Vol. 1, dedicated to the late great Polar, was crafted with both reverence and a bold creative touch. This project pays homage to Polar's legacy, under the guiding hand of his collaborator and dear friend, A-1 Thee Assas'n. A-1 created the LEGENDARY series to honor and pay tribute to not only Polar, but the many of The Fallen Black Heart Family musicians, which unfortunately, there is a whole lot more than there should be.
Polar and E-40
Polar wasn't only a great lyricist and an amazing performer, he was also a showman. He was known to act a damn fool from time to time, similar to the antics of A-1 & Kane when they're in “Villain Mode”. His ideas were eclectic and original. And his impersonations, like the infamous ‘P-40’, fashioned after the west coast legendary recording artist E-40, which was so on-point with the details of his voice and his mannerisms' that it was instantly a hit among his friends and family and fellow musicians who all loved to see him play the role of “P-40”. Below is one of the only surviving recordings of Polar performing his “P-40” character on camera. This was during a filming of his internet broadcast “This Week With P”.…. Enjoy.

Volume one of the LEGENDARY series is appropriately starring A-1's good friend and audio engineer, Polar, who he was introduced to after he was released from prison in 2012.
The very next year, in 2013, Polar accompanied A-1 when he hit the road to perform at The West Coast Hip-Hop Awards in Vancouver, Washington where the two performed their hit song “Turn Up (Remix)” live on stage during the award ceremony. Polar also was half of the duo Big Boyz with Mike Leiz and the charismatic leader of the Buckhead Crew (BHNS - BuckHead Nuff Said), a group of talented musicians based in Wichita, Kansas.
